The Art Of: Aerosol with IZK (SATURDAY JUNE 25TH 1:00- 3:00)
The ART of AEROSOL (with IZK)
A detailed crash course learning experience for the art medium of AEROSOL spray paint. This class is hosted by veteran muralist, studio artist, scenic artist, and designer, Isaac “IZK” Davies.
Each participant will receive an informational understanding about products, painting effects, design, and various applications.
The two hour course will include: Instruction, demonstration, guided lessons, and industry tips.

Isaac has 25years experience with Spraypaint and his creations have been commissioned by many local, state, national and international companies. Isaac has worked with: the Dallas Museum of Art, the Dallas Mavericks, FC Dallas, Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Children’s Medical Center, Dallas Independent School District, the City of Dallas Public Art Program, Lexus, Red bull, Ducati, the Texas Lottery, Texas Live!, the Deep Ellum Association, USO, American Airlines, The National Black Theater of Harlem, Modelo Especial, Yeti, Roche Bobois, and many others. He also has numerous collaborations with non profit organizations, community organizations, schools and local businesses.
Isaac is the founding member of the “Dallas Army of Artists” and co founding member of the graffiti park, the “Fabrication Yard” as well co founder of the Dallas hip-hop collective “CoLab”. He currently lives in historic Exposition Park, where he has been the resident scenic artist at the “Ochre House Theater” for the past 7 years.
The surfaces to paint on will be provided, but it will be up to each participant to bring their own paint. Each participant will however receive a variety of spray paint tips, for painting. It’s recommended to purchase Montana brand Spraypaint (Montana gold, Montana 94, Montana black), but not required.
Deep Ellum Art Company will host the class in their backyard, where there is plenty of shade and open space, available drinks, restrooms and an art gallery.
