Too grassy for the honky tonks and too amplified for the traditional stages, Texas String Assembly cut their teeth in Austin’s favorite rock ‘n’ roll clubs. In a short amount of time, this 8-piece band has captivated the Austin music scene with exhilarating live performances and a unique Americana sound. Following 2022 release of their album DOGGABONE (Nine Mile Records), called a “raucous, jamming debut” by Doug Freeman, the band ventured outside their home state and has gigged extensively, with show numbers in the triple digits and multiple international tours already under their belt. Recognized by The Austin Chronicle as one of Austin’s best bluegrass/folk acts of the year, Texas String Assembly is keeping the excitement rolling with plans for new singles, tours, and their second full-length album… stay tuned!
