PAV4N
The founding member & MC of the groundbreaking group Foreign Beggars, PAV4N, launched his solo project in early 2020 and has burst onto the scene with a slew of seminal releases spanning a multitude of genres and hitting all corners of the underground.
The project is a deep and visceral exploration into the merger of Underground Music, Cultural Identity, Art, Fashion, Cinema & Live performance through Hip Hop, Grime, 140 Dubstep & Drum & Bass.
Beyond his work as a rapper and performer, PAV4N has made it his mission to elevate artists and musicians from all over the world through his labels 4NC¥ & //DarkMode, while bringing and creating influential, cutting edge movements to the forefront of the electronic music landscape.
Since the project’s inception only three years ago, he has collaborated with heavy hitters such as Tommy Lee, Ganja White Knight, Ternion Sound, Sukh Knight, Kromestar, Visages, Strategy, Monty, Slushii, Hypho, Teddy Kllerz, Benny L, Muzz, Wraz, Hugh Hardie, Manga, Hyroglifics and many more.
Pavan has already made his mark, with releases on a wide variety of labels, including 1985 Music, DDD, Audio Porn, Westwood Music, Monstercat, Dim Mak, Soulvent, Overview Music, Artikal Music, UKF/Pilot Records, A Records, NightMode, SubCarbon, Chinese Man Records, Unchained Recordings, Better Noise Music and his own imprints 4NC¥ & //DarkMode.
Hypho
Hailing from Manchester, England producer and DJ Louis Richardson, known by his alias Hypho, is at the forefront of a new generation of UK artists. Through his versatile DJ sets ranging from 100-160 BPM, and his own productions; combining elements of dubstep, techno, garage, and the like, Hypho has created an undeniable signature sound.
In 2019, Hypho founded his own label Manuka Records, with the goal of showcasing new talent from across Europe and the USA. With a catalog of releases featuring artists such as Ternion Sound, Sukh Knight, Chef Boyarbeatz, and more, Manuka aims to showcase different music and styles from artists that they might not release elsewhere, thus exposing its audience to these fresh sounds.
Hypho’s own music has found homes on prestigious imprints such as Deep, Dark & Dangerous, Swamp81, and EC2A, among countless others, only further showcasing his versatility as a producer. As his reputation has grown, it is no surprise that Hypho has toured extensively around the world, performing in clubs and festivals in Europe, the Americas, and Asia.
Going into the future the Hypho project has no plans of slowing down as he looks to expand his craft, and bring the world the sounds of the Hypho.
ONHELL
“ONHELL” is a phonetic respelling of the Spanish pronunciation of angel and the first name of Los
Angeles based composer, producer and DJ, Angel Rubio-Hale.
An ever evolving force within the world of underground music, ONHELL creates a wide range of styles &
genres consistently demonstrating his versatility. His live sets are mainly all original beats, remixes, &
edits. He melds bass, rap, grime & melodic experimentation fluidly generating an atmosphere that both
broadens perspectives & encourages everyone to turn up. His motto is, “It’s not a show. It’s a party.”
His most recent tour history includes direct support for Alix Perez on several dates on his latest North
American tour & direct support for The Glitch Mob on various dates on their current tour. Notable festivals
performances include: Symbiosis Gathering, Shambhala, Croatia’s Outlook Festival, Wakaan, Northern
Nights, Treefort Music Fest, What the Festival, Raindance Campout, The Untz Festival, & Infrasound.
Shrimpnose
In the past few years, as Shrimpnose, Riley Smithson has released albums with LA based
labels Friends of Friends(Shlohmo, GROUNDISLAVA, Daedelus, Perera Elsewhere) and Dome
of Doom (QRTR, Jon Casey, Daedelus). He also has recent releases on Bitbird, Brainfeeder
Records, Chillhop, Blue Note & Astralwerks Records, and recently signed to Nettwerk.
His music flutters between the beautiful and jagged corners of electronic music. Riley had a
great 2022 with various headline dates in LA, a support dates for Ivy Lab in Minneapolis,
Opiou in Los Angeles, and touring across the country supporting Anomalie last summer and
Blockhead late 2021, and a brief headline tour with FoF labelmates Somni and Joe
Nora(LA,NYC,MPLS) – with dates in NYC (x2) Chicago(x2), Minneapolis (x3), Des Moines,
Denver, Eugene, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, LA(x3), and DC.
His most recent shows include: Sold out DMVU direct support in Denver at the Blalck Box,
sold out Shrek Rave in Minneapolis at First Ave (1500 cap) He’s gearing up for his next
album release “As It Seems” on Friends of Friends this October; including features from:
Anomalie, Bobby Raps, Ryan Hemsworth, Blockhead, Blu, Bad Snacks, Swum, Somni, and
Joe Nora. The album is a big step up sonically, with elements of post-dubstep, future bass,
hyperpop, and folk rock blended with his low fidelity leanings. With lyrics touching on
disability, isolation, and feelings of codependence, the album has these conversations in a
nuanced way that is demonstrative of Riley’s personal experiences.
The release of his 2022 album “Under Fire!” (Friends of Friends) and his acclaimed Spotify
Singles (featuring a Brian Eno cover) through Blue Note and Astralwerks Records — with
support from Shade45, BBC6, KCRW, Nashville NPR, New Music Friday., lofi beats, and
widespread DSP and college radio support — has set him up for an active year ahead. He has
features in Complex, Vice, BBC, Passion of the Weiss, Bandcamp, RinseFM, The Current,
Dancing Astronaut, XLR8R, Earmilk, Lyrical Lemonade, Dublab, and other notable
publications. With a combined 50+ million plays across platforms, it’s a matter of time
before Shrimpnose is a regular name in the touring circuit.
He has collaborations with Bobby Raps, Lil Aaron, Daedelus, Little Snake, and more. He has
also played festivals such as Infrasound (5x) Snowta(x2), Summerset, 515 Alive(Skrillex,
Marshmello, Post Malone, Excision, Tipper) and one of the final Low End Theory nights
in Los Angeles.
