“One of the foremost innovators in the fertile Nueva Cumbia movement. Led by Colombian songwriter and producer Mario Galeano Toro (also founding member of Ondatrópica and Los Pirañas), Frente Cumbiero’s sound is rooted in traditional cumbia, while incorporating modern influences from jazz, electronic music, tropicália, experimental rock, and dub.
