About Aaron Hake & The Human Beings:
aron Hale is a classically trained (Oklahoma State University) multi-instrumentalist singer/songwriter from Oklahoma. The Human Beings were formed in 2017 upon the prerelease of Hale’s debut album: Wildflowers & Atom Bombs”. The Human Beings take it’s name from a John Trudell (American Indian Movement) quote “I am just a human being trying to make it in a world that is rapidly losing its understanding of being human.” Hale met VandeBurgh when VandeBurgh was still in high school. Vandeburgh used to come and watch Hale perform local shows in Stillwater and soon a friendship was kindled. Jacob Davis and Hale were classmates at Oklahoma State University where they studied classical music theory and sang together in choir. MIchael Campbell and VandeBurgh were high school friends. The music incorporates Hale’s original composition in which he switches between five finger picked acoustic guitar, harmonica, and piano/organ. Hale’s recording career began in 2016 at Bell Labs in Norman with producer Trent Bell and features Matt Duckworth (The Flaming Lips) on the drums.
